Dr. Ziva Bruckner Receives 2008 Award

 

At the Annual Meeting of the Augusta Jewish Federation, held June 3, 2008, Dr. Ziva P. Bruckner received the Maurice Steinberg Award.  Long time friend Stephen Steinberg conferred the award, noting the extent of Ziva’s leadership in both the Jewish community and the wider community. 

 

“The Maurice Steinberg Achievement Award is given to the individual or couple who exemplifies Maurice Steinberg’s love of Judaism, the Jewish people and the State of Israel which reflects through involvement in the Augusta Jewish Federation.

 

The recipient (s) share Maurice’s belief in our tradition of Tzedakah and his faith in the ability of the Jewish people for Tikkun Olam (repair of the world)”.
